Rohan offer a footwear range suitable for 3 season outdoor activities including trekking, trail walking, and casual or everyday wear. Whether you are choosing outdoor footwear for the first time or replacing an old worn out pair of boots, it is important to consider your primary activity as well as the type of terrain you want to cover.
The range offers solutions for every terrain below the snowline, including styles with excellent grip and mud shedding, torsional stability and all round comfort. There are also a number of styles that include a waterproof membrane that ensures your feet stay dry and nothing stops you getting out on the hills.
Don't forget that good footwear works better together with good outdoor socks.

| Season description | |
|---|---|
| Spring | Early Spring can be wet and cool, so footwear that provides warmth and waterproof protection is advisable. In recent years the UK has also experienced some snow and frost so good grip and stability can be a real benefit. |
| Summer | Summer is generally the hottest and driest season but its fair to say that in the UK it can also have its wet days. Lightweight footwear that will adapt to changing conditions, coping with dry and dustier terrain as well as increasing temperatures can ensure more comfortable walking and fewer blisters. |
| Autumn | Autumn in the UK can be very unsettled. Wet and windy days can mean softening terrain and the increased need for footwear that sheds mud effectively. |
| Winter | Winter is generally cold, wet and windy with the chance of snow and hard frosts. Footwear with good grip and ankle support is essential to deal with uneven and slippy terrain. Waterproof membranes will also help to keep your feet warm and dry. Rohan footwear is suitable for use moving below the snowline as it is not currently crampon compatible. |
