And specialist outdoor clothing, along with high factor sunblocks, has a key part to play.

Unfortunately, you can’t tell how protective a garment is, just by looking at it. You can cover up and still get burned. That’s why Rohan pioneered the testing of clothing fabrics for UV penetration over 15 years ago. It’s one of the innovations we’re most proud of. All Rohan fabrics for hot weather, that carry the sun icon, are tested for their Ultraviolet Protection Factor and rated either High or Total.
