Volition Daypack 25

Volition Series technology – in a standalone daypack.

Our Volition Series is a unique system of luggage made up of several modules. These modules may be combined in a variety of ways, depending on where you’re heading and what you’re planning, to provide the perfect carrying ‘solution’ for every trip.

The Volition Daypack 25 takes advantage of the incredibly innovative thinking and advanced fabrics of the Volition Series and applies them to a standalone 25 litre capacity rucksack that’s perfect for everyday use, adventurous travel, walking or trekking.

It’s designed in an ergonomic shape with a moulded, padded back and lumbar panel to offer a comfortable, close-fitting and stable carry – even on the roughest and most uneven ground.

The main fabric is an advanced composite polyamide called X-Pac™ - it’s light, waterproof and really tough – all the things you need in a rucksack fabric.

It features padded, adjustable shoulder straps with an adjustable, removable waist belt and a height-adjustable chest strap.

On the front, there’s an easy-to-access organiser pocket which had been thoughtfully designed to offer convenient storage for both everyday and specialist outdoor items. It incorporates small and large sleeve pockets, a zipped pocket, a key clip and two penslots. There’s a large zipped pocket on the top of the bag.

The Volition 25 is fully hydration system compatible – there’s a sleeve on the inside to take a bladder, an exit hole at the top of the bag for the tube and a retention strap on the shoulder strap to hold it in the right place.

All the zips are advanced, highly water-repellent versions which are easy to operate and minimise (although, in Britain, not eliminate!) the need to pack everything in internal waterproof stuffsacks.

On the outside, there’s compression straps to stabilise the load, a grab handle and accessory attachment points with D-rings for trekking poles.

X-Pac™

Developed from Olympic yachting sail technology, our X-Pac™ fabric is an incredibly strong composite made up of three separate layers of polyamide. The primary and tertiary layers are made from extremely light, fine woven fabrics which sandwich a middle layer of (visible) polyamide spars. On the inside there’s a durable PU waterproof coating - the outer has a water repellent surface. The net result is that X-Pac™ is one of the toughest, lightest and most durable luggage fabrics available anywhere in the world. For our Volition Series, it was the natural choice.
