And our Spark Vest, the latest addition to our Elite Series, certainly scores highly in all three areas - it’s a super-lightweight insulated vest designed to offer core warmth – in an astonishingly compact package.
It’s filled with Insuloft™, our phenomenally efficient synthetic insulated wadding. We’ve gone for a 40g weight – it’s light, compressible and provides a great insulation boost – even when it’s wet.
The outer is an ultralight, 20 denier polyamide which is windproof, hardwearing and extremely quick drying.
The vest is fully reversible and closes with a series of snap fasteners down the front. The rear hem is shaped and slightly dropped to eliminate that unpleasant ‘cold back’ feeling.
The style is designed to be worn across our range – obviously, it works well with all our outdoor fleeces and base-layers but it’s also designed to blend in with our smarter, general-purpose clothing. You could even try it underneath our Envoy Suit Jacket.
