Our minimalist Windshadow Jacket is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts who recognise that breathability, rather than absolute waterproofness, is usually the key to comfort in the hills and that packability and portability are usually more pertinent than complete protection.
Designed to work in a technical layering system, our Windshadow Jacket is totally windproof, more breathable than the most breathable waterproof, highly resistant to showers, ultra-lightweight and phenomenally packable.
It’s great for active uses such as running and cycling and it’s pretty much essential for serious trekking, backpacking or hillwalking. And, because of its understated, ‘matt’ appearance, it makes a great jacket for travel and general wear.
Made from a lightweight, closely-woven polyamide with a micro-ripstop construction and our Durable Water Repellency™ finish, it offers high levels of both abrasion and tear resistance and just enough rain protection to keep you dry if you’re caught in a shower.
Two zip-fastened hand pockets and a chest pocket offer sufficient storage space for outdoor essentials such as a compass or GPS. The inside, zipped pocket doubles up as a Packpocket™ into which the whole jacket stuffs for convenient, compact storage.
The hood features elasticated bindings for a close, comfortable seals and rolls away neatly into the collar when not in use.
