Men's Microgrid Stowaway Jacket
Our Microgrid Stowaway Jacket is the much-requested full-zip version of our best-selling Microgrid Stowaway Zip.
Like its pullover partner it takes advantage of our advanced Microgrid fleece: this hardwearing polyester fleece is characterised by a ‘holey’ grid structure. This enables the fabric to trap air, lots of it. And it’s the secret to its surprisingly high level of warmth.
These holes have other benefits too: they make the whole top lighter. They also make it much more packable and far more breathable. All for the same warmth as a much heavier, ordinary fleece.
Our Microgrid Stowaway Jacket is a functional – but casual looking – fleece jacket designed to maximise the properties of this remarkable material. It’s a simple, technical design which is perfect as a layering piece – both in the hills or around town.
It features two zipped hand pockets and a zipped, angled chest pocket which doubles as a Packpocket™ into which the whole jacket packs for convenient stowage.
