Designed in an understated, timeless style our On Routes combine the looks and versatility of a classic chino with the technical performance of specialist outdoor trousers.

The secret is the fabric: it’s made from an astonishingly functional 100% polyamide with our Dynamic Moisture Control™ finish.

It’s extremely hard-wearing, easy to wash and very quick drying. In the field, you’ll find they’re highly windproof and offer Total* protection from the harmful effects of UV radiation. They’re also very breathable and supremely comfortable in hot, humid conditions.

They feature two hand pockets, two zipped security pockets and two rear patch pockets. An internal Tri-ring keeps your car keys or pocket knife safe and secure – but close at hand.

The waist is part-elasticated for a comfortable, forgiving fit.

So what’s the point of all this?

Well, if you’re the sort of person who likes to take off at the drop of a hat, keep their options open and seize opportunities as they arise, then these are, without doubt, the trousers for you.

And, even if you’re not really that devil-may-care, rugged Indiana Jones type of chap, at least (in your On Routes) you can be honest with yourself: it’s something else, and not your pants, that’s holding you back.

*A Note on Sun Protection

Our sun protective clothing is tested in accordance with EN 13858-2 standards. Garments awarded our Total (UPF 40+) rating block 98% of harmful UVA + UVB radiation to covered areas. The protection offered may be reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet.
