Men's Mountain Guide Trousers
Rugged, totally waterproof, mountain trousers.
Designed to team up with our Mountain Guide Jacket to form a fully waterproof suit for serious hillwalkers and outdoor professionals, our Mountain Guide Trousers have been designed to provide real, day-long comfort. The shape, cut and detail have more in common with our regular trekking trousers than with traditional, shapeless over-trousers and that’s resulted in a pair of highly protective pants that fit exceptionally well with great freedom of movement and no unnecessary bagginess.
They take advantage of our advanced Barricade™ technology in a 2-layer construction with a rugged polyamide face and a mesh liner. Obviously it’s totally waterproof and, with our Active Diffusion™ technology, phenomenally breathable - even in challenging, humid conditions.
The outer fabric has been treated with our high-specification Permanent Water Repellency™ finish to ensure that water beads up on the surface and the fabric never wets out - keeping breathability to a maximum.
Our Mountain Guide Trousers feature long side zip which finish just above the knee, so they’re easy to put on or remove when you’re wearing big boots.
The adjustable waist features an extended, elasticated panel at the rear and is lined with soft-touch fabrics for comfort. Touch-and-close fastened side tabs fine-tune the fit. Adjustable hems offer a loose fit which can be cinched in tight when required.
On the right leg, we’ve added a generous cargo pocket with our secure Rollover™ closure - it’s large enough for a guide book or map.
