Women's Striders

Tough enough for the toughest trekking trips

Designed to take the toughest trekking trips comfortably in their stride, our hugely-popular Striders are the best-selling trousers in our range.

And it’s no surprise. If you’re a serious walker – and you’re out any time in autumn, winter or spring – you’d have to travel a very long way to find a better-fitting, more functional pair of trekking trousers anywhere.

They’re made from a remarkably robust blend of polyamide and elastane which offers a reassuring level of both abrasion and tear resistance. They’re also highly resistant to wind and water, they dry incredibly quickly and they provide a useful level of warmth.

And because they include elastane in the blend, they’re also amazingly comfortable to wear. The fabric has a forgiving, four-way stretch which provides completely unrestricted freedom of movement when you’re flogging up hill or negotiating a stile.

The waist features neat tab adjustors which can be adjusted on the move to fine-tune the fit.

Our Striders feature two useful, zipped hand pockets – one contains a functional accessory loop. It’s perfect for attaching your car keys to.

The slightly flared boot-cut ensures the Striders fit neatly over bulky walking or trekking boots and, as a useful side effect, gives them a modern, flattering shape which looks great when you’re back in civilisation. In fact (and obviously we never intended this) we think we may have created the perfect après-ski trousers – if there’s anything better for buzzing round snowy mountain resorts than our Striders, we certainly haven’t seen them!

Fabric: Multiflex™ (92% polyamide, 8% elastane)

  • Rugged trekking trousers.
  • Two zipped hand pockets.
  • In-pocket accessory loop.
  • Adjustable waist.
  • Fleece-lined waistband.
  • Durable.
  • Packable.
  • High-wicking.
  • Quick-drying.
  • Easy to wash.
  • Crease resistant.
