The Kent County Show
Rohan head to Maidstone for the 2nd leg of their summer roadshow with a stand at the Kent County Show, from July 11th - 13th 2008.
Come and meet the team, take advantage of great show offers & tell us what your ideal British weekend may involve and you could win it!
The Kent County Show will have The Band of the Corps of Royal Engineers performing in the main arena over the three days, and also the famous 'Dancing Diggers', an amazing mix of sequenced dance with the awesome power of a group of JCB's!
Also new this year will be a larger Countryside Area that will include Fly-fishing, Ferret Racing, Birds of Prey, Otters, Hounds and other countryside pursuits such as working Gun Dogs. The Forestry section will feature both traditional and modern methods of timber extraction from the Murrain Wood, as well as many traditional crafts skills.
There will be a large interactive area in the Agricultural Zone called 'Why Farming Matters' that will focus on the importance of farming in Kent. The main theme of this area will be showing how food gets to the fork and will include cookery demonstrations on how local produce can be used to make a variety of tantalising meals.
