We’ve been using the phrase Travel Unlimited for quite a while now. We really like it. It implies freedom. It suggests a sense of limitless possibilities – and unlimited opportunities. For us, it sums up what it feels like to wear Rohan clothing.
What does travelling unlimited mean to you? We’ve been wondering. What exactly does travelling unlimited mean to you? Quite a few of you have written in to tell us already - and lots more have sent in pictures. So, we thought it might be a good idea to ask all our customers what they think. And we thought you might find it fun to see what your fellow Rohan enthusiasts think as well. And so we had an idea – the Travel Unlimited Photograph Competition. We’d like to invite you to send in a photograph which sums up – neatly and succintly (but in whatever way you feel appropriate) – exactly what Travel Unlimited means to you personally. This is not a ‘photography’ competition in the normal sense. We’re not necessarily looking for technical perfection or classical composition. The winning image may well have been captured on a top-end Hasselblad. But it could just as easily have been snapped with a camera phone. What we’re looking for is a visual presentation of what ‘Travel Unlimited’ means to you. And the person who demonstrates this meaning in the most thoughtprovoking, insightful and inspiring way will an amazing prize – a fantastic trip to Finland.
Discover the World, the UK’s leading Lapland specialist with over 2 decades of experience are pleased to offer 2 lucky people a chance to experience the breathtaking wilderness and fell area of Finnish Lapland. We’re planning to publish as many entries as we can on our website– so the whole world will be able to see what travelling the world means to you. And we’re also planning to print the very best of the entries in our forthcoming brochures (with your permission of course). So, be sure to look out for next season’s catalogues – your picture could be the star of the show!

We’re going to be keeping the entry requirements as easy as possible and, for that reason, we’ll only accept digital files for submission. If you’ve captured the image on a digital camera or a camera phone, entering will be as simple as emailing a picture to a friend. If your picture is a print or a transparency, then you’ll obviously need to get it scanned first. Files should be in a JPEG format and the file size should be less than 250K. To enter, simply follow the instructions on the top right of this page – it’s as easy as that!
