Lighter, more comfortable, faster drying

No-one’s 100% sure who invented jeans. But one things for certain. They never set out to make anything ‘cool’.

They were made out of tent fabric and designed to do one thing: work.

Over the years, though, they’ve become rather popular. And, as is happens, they’ve turned out to be kind of cool too. Worn by just about everyone, they look great – pretty much anywhere.

When Rohan set out to make jeans, we knew we had to make them better. The question was: how do you improve the ‘unimprovable’?

The answer, though, was fairly simple: smart fabric technology.

Regular denim jeans look great. But they’re heavy, uncomfortable, too hot for travel and take an age to dry after washing. Rohan Travel Jeans, by contrast, are made from Travel Denim™, a sophisticated fusion of cotton and advanced modern synthetics.

The results are remarkable.

Because our Jeans contain stretchy elastane, they’re just about the only jeans you won’t regret wearing on a long-haul flight. They’re also much lighter than ordinary jeans. If we’ve learnt one thing in the last 30 odd years, it’s the fact that lighter fabrics don’t necessarily mean less durable trousers – it’s just a question of choosing the right, light fabric.

Travel Jeans are also much faster drying than regular jeans. Around a third of the fabric is CoolMax® polyester which means Travel Jeans dry in about two thirds of the usual time. In practical terms, that means overnight. Which means you can travel with only one pair. And that’s quite an advantage.
