The Brathay Trust works with over 6,000 young people every year, focusing on the skills that they need to develop their potential, employability and resilience. Their stated mission is to improve the life chances for children and young people and the site at Ambleside offers outdoor activities near to home or as immersive residential stays, making the most of the inspiring lakeside location.

The Brathay Trust work throughout the UK to inspire people and organisations to achieve and deliver results from a network of locations across the North of England. The expert teams engage and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the Brathay effect, enthused by the belief in the transformational power of people working together.

Gift Your Gear donations have added to the Kit Room at the Brathay Trust and are enabling lots of people to experience beautiful parts of the Lake District.
