We were the original lightweight revolutionaries. Back in the 1970’s we realised that cutting weight without losing performance meant that you can take less and do more. Everything we make is engineered to achieve this.

I bought this belt online in conjunction with a pair of Lowland trousers. I had read a review that suggested the waistband of the Lowlands tended to roll over and the press stud popped open occasionally. In fact neither of these are an issue with the Lowlands, if they are the right size. They do look better with a belt though. This belt is incredibly tough and practical. Given that it is only polypropylene webbing with a plastic Delrin buckle clip, I think it is quite expensive, but you'll still be enjoying the quality, long after you have forgotten the pain of the price.
I been using Rohan belts from old "Uplanders" and "Trailblazers" etc. circa 1998...and later with my more recently bought pairs of "Stretch Bags". The belts came supplied with the trousers of that time and were of course too narrow for new Rohans. I sent for a size long "Rangefinder" hoping it would be wider.....it is!!!! and is a perfect belt and infinitely adjustable. I will order more!!!!
Impulse purchased during a Rohan sale and, at the lower price, its been a bargain. Mainly used with bags (hiking/general) and shorts. The buckle is too large to slip through my trouser hoops, but it only takes a few seconds to remove from the webbing and refit. A very small but welcome bonus - as its all plastic, I've never had to remove during airport security checks (YMMV).
The Rangefinder Belt is a fantastic belt for general travel purposes, including hiking and trekking. It is incredibly light, but is very strong and durable. I have three of these belts and they have lasted for many years in excellent condition. I use this belt with Escapers Trousers and a number of different shorts, including Consignment Shorts, Escaper Shorts, Bags Shorts and Savannah Shorts.
Made of polypropylene, the belt strap is incredibly tough – it is probably impossible to damage it!! Also, it dries very quickly after being washed or after getting wet from the rain. Adjusting this belt is very easy, and the nylon buckle always stays secure when fastened.
With a range of colours to choose from, this belt has become an important part of my travel wardrobe. Before I first tried it, I thought it looked a bit tacky and plasticky – but after using it many times I have been converted. It is significantly better than the Anywear Belt – the buckle on the Rangefinder Belt is much stronger.
