Our Stretch Microgrid Crew is remarkably warm for how small it can compress. This is down to the dense 'grid' fabric structure. As well as giving the fabric a stylish textured appearance, the grid structure allows it to trap more air and retain warmth while remaining incredibly lightweight and packable. As a result, it improves its wicking effectiveness, breathability and dry time. In addition, with added stretch, there's greater freedom of movement.
The Stretch Microgrid Crew is breathable and naturally high wicking, allowing the garment to manage moisture, keeping you cool and comfortable with all the same warmth as a much heavier fleece. In addition, this remarkable material maximises its stretch properties for supreme comfort, fit, and freedom of movement without restriction.
This Microgrid Crew has a simple design but with a high specification technical fabric and is perfect as a layering piece, windproof outer layer or perfect on its own.

Men’s stretch Microgrid fleece, crew neck
These lightweight fleeces are great for walking, everyday wear, and wearing down to the pub. The stretch makes them super comfortable, and the light weight makes them not too hot. Also great as a thinner mid-layer on cooler days. I bought all 3 colours, they wash well, keep their shape & colour and have remained smart. Rohan used to do a V-neck version of these which I would love to see reintroduced.
Great tops
I’ve now got 5 of these tops , 2 for best and 3 for ever day wear . Really comfortable, breathe well , wash well , Great for men , who always wear there favourites.

Although it was a man's sweater I knew it would be ok for me--& it was--just what \i wanted!
Fantastic addition to the microgrid range
I ordered these as soon as they were available. They arrived a week ago and have already become firm favourites. so light and easy to wear yet warm enough to notice. They are somewhat windproof - even the strong coastal winds I experienced at the weekend didn't penetrate enough to make a difference. They hand nicely and I really like the cut-back feeling of not having the zips (even though the half zip and jackets remain firm favourites) They are really lightweight - just 215g yet as warm as you need them to be - great job - thank you!
Under the journey Blazer with a Dalby Shirt and the Downton Jacket for additional warmth when it got really cold - all worked a treat!
