Our Stretch Bag Shorts have been made from a super tough and technical fibre, which is highly wind resistant, quick drying and with stretch ensuring improved freedom of movement and comfort for unrestrictive activity.
These hiking shorts are incredibly durable and lightweight, great for travel and trek. Dynamic Moisture Control finish wicks away moisture, helping you to keep cool and comfortable in warm climates and high activity.
They have all the key signature features from our Bags range, four zipped security pockets for your important valuables and gadgets, as well as two drop in hand pockets. Also, you’ll never lose your keys with our incorporated D-ring attachment for functionality and security.

Better looking and feel lighter with more freedom of movement
I love these stretch bag shorts. They are a bit longer in the leg than ordinary bag shorts so more modern style. They feel lighter and probably faster to dry out but the main thing is the flexibility in them gives way more range of movement in the legs for doing yoga, climbing etc. They are all round more comfortable. My bag shorts do they feel like they'd be harder wearing so I prefer them for mountain biking etc than stretch bag shorts. Regarding the fit, this was no issue compared to my usual sizing. Great value in the sale. It was definitely worth popping in to the Betws y Coed shop where I received outstandly good service thank you.

Men's bag stretch shorts: Great shorts!
Firstly, great shorts! Super comfy with the stretch. The usual Rohan quality, no issues there. I've worn 'regular' Bags (trousers and shorts) for over 30 years, and last year tried the stretch trousers, and I was converted! Very comfy. So, I thought I'd try the shorts as the trousers are so good, especially as they were in the sale! My stretch trousers are a size 30, and a good fit. (FYI, I'm female but always wear the men's trousers as they fit my body shape better) Having read the reviews around sizing, I ordered a size 30 and 32, as I was worried the 30's wouldn't fit. I'm glad I did as the 32's are a much better fit, the 30 size was too tight for me. So, I've returned the 30's and kept the 32's. For reference, my 'actual' waist measurement is just over 30". Hope that helps!

Really comfortable walking shorts
These are my second pair - really comfortable for long walks in warm weather - although I have been known to roll up the leg a bit to shorten them in v warm weather! Love the stretch and soft feel of the material. Lots of useful pockets. Perfect sizing for me (32' waist). Only gripe is that they are a bit expensive - but you get what you pay for!

Durable, comfortable and flexible shorts
These shorts fit well (34" waist - my usual size). They look good, and are very flexible - I can even do yoga in them. Not too short or long. Only gripe is why the expandable press studs (not on ladies' version)?

Excellent shorts
These are excellent shorts made of durable material with deep zipped pockets. They are a good length (not too short nor too long) and look smart. I've been buying Rohan shorts and trousers since the mid-eighties and never had a problem with sizing, but after reading the earlier reviews I ordered my regular size (34") and also the next size up. The 34" fit perfectly (as usual) so the 36" pair have gone back to Rohan. I can only assume the earlier reviewers had a bad batch. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Stretch Bags
Just purchased these shorts in a 32 waist size despite me pushing the boundary slightly ! The are a good and very comfortable fit. As I wear Stretch Bags for walking I knew these woud be the same fit. Very pleased.

Buy the next size up!
I'm a long term Rohan fan & bought these shorts to wear while on duty as a Covid marshal coordinator. Fortunately, I read the first review which mentioned the small waist size. Consequently, I went from a 34 to a 36 & they are a perfect fit. The lighter blue colour is ideal & there are plenty of zip pockets Altogether, I'm delighted.

Disappointing Stretch Bag Shorts
I frequently wear stretch bags and happily have four pairs which are 5 star rated. I have just received my first pair of shorts and the sizing is completely different - much too small! With my trousers I am between size and always buy the larger pair and use a belt. Having bought the shorts in the same larger size there was no way I could do them up.
Rohan, please keep your sizing consistent.
