Read more…The Vista Trousers are made from a lightweight and stretchy fabric, they will perfectly compliment you on your next adventure, be it climbing the hills or walking through trails. Developed with an ergonomic shaped fit they have been designed for efficiency to keep up with you and go beyond.
Durable Water Repellency is a treatment that has been applied to the outer fabric of these trousers. This means that water droplets are forced to ‘bead up’ and run off the fabric. This treatment can repel water for a while, but in prolonged or a heavy downpour the outer fabric will eventually wet out.
Featuring three zipped security pockets and a drop in rear pocket secured with a snap, there is plenty space to store the items you need for quick access. the pockets are made from mesh so as to not compromise on the lightweight nature of the trousers. Discreet hem scuff panels prevent the heels of your walking boots from chaffing the material.

Fast Drying - Drying Time: 5 hours
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

Really Comfortable
I actually went into the shop to buy some Riviera trousers but these suited me better. Smarter than similar previous models and the DWR worked its magic on the walk back. Although thin, the fabric seems to keep the wind out and the waistband is just a perfect middling height. I shall be wearing these a lot once the shorts have been put away.
I hope these Vista trousers will be a regular part of the range and there will be other colours - maybe a blue.

great design for damp and not too cold
I can't think of anything I'd really change about these aside from maybe some more interesting colours.
They avoid the trap a lot of walking trousers fall in to of extra Stuff that isn't always helpful (e.g. thigh pockets, ankle zips and scuff guards, extra knee reinforcement etc.) which helps them be very light, and the cut is trim so they don't flap in the wind. The DWR works quite well: recently cycling in dreich for a day they'd sometimes wet through but thanks to the DWR and the light, stretch fabric never got uncomfortable and dried out very quickly (when the rain got lighter they dried as fast as they got wet).
They're light and thin so won't be too warm (not a criticism, if you're out on a cold day take Troggings or similar which would be too warm in summer) but cater well for those days when it's not *that* cold but it is damp, where something with Dynamic Mositure Control would take on water droplets these just shrug off.

Early review is very positive !
I already have more than a dozen pairs of Rohan trousers, ranging from the warmest winter bags through to the lightest weight casual trousers, so I know that 38" Long is a perfect size for me, but these instantly felt ultra comfortable. Obviously to do with the fit, but also the material - just the right amount of stretch to allow me to be moving or sitting in them, but not too much that they lose their shape. They look so good that my wife instantly suggested that I should send for another pair as I am likely to wear them so much!

Men’s vista trousers
This is the second pair purchased and have travelled across Europe by train in the last week and they have been perfect for it. Well fitting, sufficient stretch to provide comfort, light weight and secure pockets for wallet/ change.

Mens Vista Trousers
These trousers are so light, so well designed, they have replaced my bags, as my GoTo choice of leg wear.
I got these Vistas on a visit to Rohan in Knutsford, the weather had turned from cool morning, to almost too warm, not an uncommon event these days. Rohan presented the answer, also not an uncommon event.
