Using Thermocore™ technology to trap warm air within the hollow core of the yarn, the Hudson Shirt is an incredibly warm piece with the insulation equivalent of a lightweight fleece. Using contrasted Airlight™ panels across the shoulders and for the outer patch pockets increases durability in those high-wear areas – particularly convenient when wearing a rucksack – making this shirt a great choice for cold-weather adventures.
Despite its fantastic warming properties, the Hudson Shirt is very lightweight making it really comfortable to wear but also fantastic for taking with you on winter treks or hiking trips as it packs down small.
The addition of dry loops and its light weight helps to make the shirt easy to care for. Wash it and it dry will dry in just a few hours so you can wear and re-wear it day after day. With its predominantly polyester construction it won’t shrink or lose its shape over time making it a great long-lasting garment that you can wear for years to come.
The classic outdoor style of the Hudson Shirt is complimented by the retro popper closure throughout, including on the two patch chest pockets and on the adjustable cuffs.

Originally introduced in 1983, Airlight™ is the fabric that revolutionized travel clothing: it’s a classic, perfectly-balanced fusion of cotton and polyester. Lightweight, hardwearing, wind resistant, breathable and compressible, it’s easy to wash, very quick drying and feels wonderfully cool and comfortable next to the skin.

Great winter shirt
Really pleased with this shirt. Great quality as with all Rohan stuff. Looks really good with the contrasting Airlight panels. Works well as a warm shirt or a light jacket. Bought at a decent discount in the sale, so great value!
Great quality heavy duty shirt.
Really loved this shirt design. It is a heavy duty winter shirt and resembles a jacket. The poppers I found easy to use although I do prefer buttons they fitted in with the design of the garment. I'd prefer the side zipped pockets on front as openings on top are difficult to get into. Great for a rucksack / day sack with the panels over shoulders and would really serve a purpose in certain conditions.

Another substandard Rohan product being returned!
On first opening, the packet and beginning to undo the front of the shirt to try it on the first popper closure broke off!! Sadly, they're cheapo plastic fittings and simply not fit for purpose. Really disappointing. And then I noticed that the size was wrong. The sewn-in label states XL (Extra Large) and the product label card L (Large). I'd ordered large, so the shirt is too big.
