Designed with a longer length and fixed hood, paired with high loft wadding to make the Women's Frostpoint 100 Coat the ultimate choice for freezing cold days on the hills.
Read more…The Frostpoint 100 Coat is essential for winter due to its durable outer construction made with Insuloft wadding offering unrivalled warmth to weight right where you need it. A two way zipper and functional, warm pockets make this a stand out product. This is the key to winter outdoor exploring such as hikes and treks.
100g of Insuloft™ R-XE wadding has been included on the body and hood of the coat while 80g has been used in the sleeves, providing core and full body warmth. This is an essential piece for freezing cold, windy and harsh climates, providing you with a shell of warmth and protection.
Extra warmth is provided by a microfleece lining at the collar, chin guard and hand pockets. Internal storm cuffs have also been added to help reduce heat loss and trap warm air inside the garment for enhanced heat retention. Adjustable elasticated hood face gives this product maximum protection and makes the ultimate winter’s coat.
The outer is made using soft Polyamide, blended with Elastane to create a strong, lightweight and tough quality - great for exploring a variety of outside surroundings. The Elastane gives this garment flexibility, stretch and freedom of movement so you can easily move around for a more enjoyable hike with nothing holding you back.
Durable Water Repellency finish has also been incorporated onto the outer fabric of the design of the Frostpoint 100 Coat. This is an advanced treatment on the material which provides excellent protection against showers as well as proving a hard wearing quality. This is great for unexpected showers and drizzly weather conditions, especially when worn solely.
Features two zipped warm hand pockets, one internal zipped pocket for valuables and two internal drop in pockets, one of which can be secured via a drawcord.
The Frostpoint Jacket is a key garment for warmth to the body on cold days.

We were the original lightweight revolutionaries. Back in the 1970’s we realised that cutting weight without losing performance meant that you can take less and do more. Everything we make is engineered to achieve this.
Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.
Insuloft is an advanced synthetic wadding that offers a better warmth-to-weight ratio than polyester fleece and better performance when wet than conventional down. It’s durable, compressible, lightweight, easy to wash and fast drying – it’s the perfect choice for cold-weather protection.
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.
Losing the odd bit or bob when you’re close to home is rarely an issue, but losing car hire keys, passport, phone or wallet becomes more important than ever in a far off land. That’s why lots of thought goes into safer pockets – deeper, zipped and hidden.

Bought coat in sale so delighted with cost. However, expected it to be a warmer coat. Live in the northeast of England so it’s bitterly cold here. Requires several layers under it to feel really warm. Good fit and the hood is good.
Perfect for the recent changeable weather ie: 13c in the sun 0c with the windchill in the shade! It is completely windproof so can wear it with a light top, zip it up with the very good hood & stay toasty without overheating. Not really for the mountains or hills though. Also it is tight on the torso, normally a 10 or small, had to size up to medium so sleeves now a bit too long. Also outside pockets could be more generous. Overall very happy especially as a bargain in the sale
I purchased this coat in the sale and as such considered it good value for money. It is very lightweight so ideal for when travelling. I bought a medium but it was way too small, (I am a size 12) I could not even do the zip up the front and the arms were uncomfortably tight. Returned it and got a large which is fine. I have been disappointed in the warmth of it, when I recently wore it I still felt cold. I have another Rohan coat which is similar which is far warmer and snugger.
The coat is lightweight and warm, comfortable to wear however it is disappointing because the creases which have been in the garment since it was delivered have remained. The garment does not therefore feel smart because it is so creased.
Wanted something to come over my bottom in cold weather. This would have been a great sale bargain but the 12-14 sizing is designed for an average size 12 and I do not recommend for apple or pear-shapes. It is cut way too finely around the torso and felt restrictive around the hips, for striding across puddles, climbing stiles etc. More a 'town' coat than for seasoned walkers. Could not access side pockets for gloves, tissues etc. A real shame and have returned my first Rohan item, without asking for next size up (16-18) as I am an average 14 in all their trousers etc. I did buy the large size Hill Top coat because I wanted to wear fleeces etc underneath, but only wore a thin insulate under this coat and it still felt too tight and made me look like a sausage. The sleeves were already too long for me with no velcro to fasten. A real shame as quality of material and feel of product is very good and hood a lovely comfortable shape. Am reluctant to buy a 'shaped' Rohan jacket/coat on line after this experience and will need to go into the shop when open.
Excellent jacket for dog walking on chilly, windy days. Lots of useful pockets. Love the hood , it stays on well and doesn’t cover your eyes. Useful being rain/shower proof. Surprisingly warm for its light weight. A little on the small side compared to other Rohan jackets I have. Would have bought a size bigger if I’d bought it in the shop, rather than online, but still big enough to wear my Rohan gilet underneath if needed,
I bought this coat for walking during the cold weather and it is ideal. Although it isn't too bulky it is very warm and cosy, and because it has some stretch to it, it is comfortable to wear. Overall very pleased.

Comfortable however had to wear extra layers when very cold and windy.
It is snug fitting so I went up a size from small to med. (I'm usually a size 10)
Good value especially as purchased in the sale!
Although I have only had this coat for a week, it has been tested three mornings in a row in minus degree temperatures and it has kept me lovely and warm. My last winter jacket was a Rab one and was equally warm, but I wanted something a bit longer to keep my bum warm. I thought about buying another longer Rab jacket but they were twice the price of this one, So I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly reccomend it Especially at the bargain sale price.
I bought this to replace a 15-year-old longer length Rohan coat which I've always found a bit shapeless and in which the zip often gets stuck.
This Frostpoint coat is better on both fronts: the zip feels strong and the pullers is double ended. It's a nice shape too. (I'm a 12 so bought a size small, which is still big enough to wear a jumper under.) It's beautifully lightweight and warm.
My one reservation is the depth of the outside pockets as these are a bit shallow and I like to be able to put my gloves in there. However, the inside pockets are excellent. The phone/wallet pocket is high up on the left, so the contents are quite comfortable. The two inside lower pockets are big enough to take hat and gloves (though not as accessible as using outside pockets for gloves). They have a mesh front and one has an elasticated pull cord at the top.
This is going to be a very useful coat. I was also lucky enough to get this in the sale so if it lasts as long as my previous coat, it'll have been excellent value.
My new coat has been well tested in cold weather. Walking in 0 degrees temperature with wind chill down to -5 , wearing a fleece jumper underneath, I felt completely cosy. Light, comfortable and the extra length makes a difference to body warmth. Wonderful hood.
