Read more…Our Pathway Jacket offers classic good looks as well as the cosy comfort of a traditional woollen cardigan. A lightweight, warm mid-layer with an attractive, knit effect outer face and a heavily brushed, highly insulating inner face. It also features a covered front zip and two secure hand pockets.
The technical fleece fabric makes it ideal for hiking and life outdoors and compared to wool of a similar warmth, it’s far lighter. It’s also more breathable and more comfortable to wear for active use, plus it makes a great layering piece when combined with a waterproof outer layer such as our Vertex Jacket.
Equally importantly, it’s much, much easier to wash. Just throw it in the machine and hang it out to dry overnight. Needless to say, it doesn’t even need any ironing.
It even has displaced shoulder seams to prevent rubbing from rucksack straps and cosy microfleece facings in the inner hand pockets, hem and cuffs.

Pathway jacket
I’ve got several of these but with the buttons not zips. I’ve loved them over the years. However, I do feel that a mistake has been made here to remove the buttons. Whilst zips are handy, the plastic ones are not that reliable and they also make the garment less like a cardi. I should have realised that before ordering as they are referred to as a jacket but I assumed they would look similar to the ones I already have. These are also more boxy-looking so unfortunately I’ll be sending both the red and navy ones back. I just wish Rohan would stop trying to fix what doesn’t need fixing. Sorry.
Pathway Fleece
It is such a great fit and so comfortable to wear. Have used it as general wear and as a layer under a waterproof on a hike. It looks stylish and performs well as a jacket or a layer .
Smart Fleece Jacket
Very smart jacket with 2 front zip pockets. Good length in body and sleeves long enough for me at 5ft 7in .Love Navy knit effect outer with cosy fleece lining. I'm very glad that I bought it and it looks great over my Shoreline tops.
Great fleece
The placket covering the zip means that this jacket is smarter looker than the usual zipped fleece. It is also better shaped so it means that it looks a bit smarter. Looking forward to wearing it to the pub when we can get out again! The material is not quite so soft as the micro-rib fleece but, having said that, it does help give more of a casual 'jacket' look. Especially good value in the sale. I bought two, partly because they are really useful items of clothing but also because they are still made in extra small. As Rohan seem to be phasing this size out I grabbed two whilst I could!!!
Pathway jacket
Extremely pleased with this jacket. It hangs well and love the blue colour. I already have an older gold jacket like this but feel the change from buttons to concealed zip is a good improvement and the cut is better shaped. These jackets are lovely and warm to wear. Very good value in the sale.
My Review of the Women's Pathway Fleece Jacket
I recently purchased two of these jackets in different colours, which are brilliant value for money whether bought in the sale or at normal price.
Having washed the jackets for the very first time, they dry quickly and come up looking like new with no ironing. I absolutely love both jackets for their colour, warmth and style, they really are very smart, snugly, and a pleasure to wear .
The customer service given in my local Rohan's shop was excellent.
I have never shopped in a Rohan's shop before until now; however I am quite addicted to the brand and visiting the shop as well as shopping on line.
Very rarely do I write reviews but my shopping experience with Rohan has been great!
