The outer layer is woven and treated with our Durable Water Repellency finish, offering protection from light showers and snow – whilst improving the drying time of the product.
Hidden in the mid layer is the windproof membrane, offering total protection from those biting northern winds with no penalty in terms of bulk. The inner layer is a brushed fleece to provide warmth.
The collar and chin guard has been lined with Microfleece for maximum comfort and warmth. The Windstorm Fleece features two zipped hand pockets to store valuable items while on your outdoor adventure. There are also two large drop in pockets to store larger items.

Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.
Fast Drying - Drying Time: 6 hours
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.
Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

Warm & lightweight fleece
This is a comfortable, soft-feel fleece that's definitely wind-proof. It's slim fit but does leave space for a mid lair. The navy colour is very dark, almost black, which was a disappointment, and the sleeves are rather long. It packs up quite small for an outer garment. The sizing seems fairly accurate but I would err on the side of sizing up rather than down. The sleeves in particular are on the narrow side. This was a good enough buy in the sale but would not have paid full price.

Great jacket
The jacket has a thick, waterproof / windproof outer layer with a fleece inside. It's not as thick as some fleeces but the jacket is still very warm and can be worn under a shell in the winter for extra insulation or on its own, as a smart, warm jacket. I had one small issue purchasing on-line but this was resolved very quickly by their excellent customer service team. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Windstorm fleece jacket
Really nice jacket with fleecy lining. The smooth outer finish gives it a smart but practical appearance. Generous sizing makes it very comfortable to wear, as I find some Rohan tops and jackets too neat fitting. Good value at sale price.
