The polyamide and lyocell blend makes the Worldwide Shirt incredibly durable yet fantastically soft.
Polyamide offers its hardwearing finish, excellent recovery and easycare functionality – wash it in the machine or by hand, and it will be dry in a matter of hours.
Lyocell is an impressive fibre that gives the Worldwide Shirt fantastic properties. This sustainable material is made from the pulp of wood and was initially created as a substitute for silk, so naturally it feels incredibly soft against the skin. It’s very breathable and high-wicking so keeps you feeling cool, dry and comfortable. It also has excellent durability and flexibility that complements the polyamide in the blend.
We’ve given the Worldwide Shirt added wicking power by giving it a Dynamic Moisture Control™ finish, which works in addition to the naturally high-wicking properties of the lyocell to move moisture away from the body to the surface of the fabric to be evaporated more quickly.
The Worldwide Shirt is cut in a classic fit with short-sleeves and a traditional collar. We’ve given it a shaped hem and darts at both the front and rear for a flattering shape.

Fast Drying - Drying Time: 2 hours
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

Comments on Worldwide shirt
I purchased a Worldview shirt earlier in the year and it is brilliant. Excellent features such as sun protection fabric and a small, secure pocket for a credit card. Perfect.
So I planned to buy a second shirt. But the Worldwide shirt appeared to have no hidden pocket and no sun protection. This was confirmed by Rohan customer services - most disappointing. Like the previous reviewer, I shall have to wait until the Worldview shirt specification is reintroduced.

I bought this shirt thinking it was actually a Women's Worldview shirt. I have a number of the Worldview shirts and they are wonderful. They always look crisp and fresh and don't crease, so never need ironing, Sadly the material of the Worldwide Shirt is different - it is not so soft and although it doesn't crease badly it still looks very crumpled after I have washed it and has to be ironed. This is not great when you are trying to keep packing to a minimum on a walking holiday and need to be able to wash things out and put them on the next day. I won't be buying any more of these unless you can assure me that you have improved the quality of the material.
