Gone are the days of uncomfortable, heavy and restrictive jeans. With an innovative blend of fibres our Women's Flex Jeans are lightweight, packable and supremely comfortable. These are bound to be your new favourites.
Read more…Four magic ingredients make up the Flex Jeans – each with impressive technical properties that when combined create a great pair of jeans you’d be happy wearing day in and day out.
Like any normal jeans, our Flex Jeans contain cotton that not only gives them their denim appeal but also takes advantage of cotton’s fantastic natural benefits - breathability, durability and comfort. To enhance these naturally occurring technical properties, we’ve blended it with Coolmax® polyester, elastane and lyocell.
Like any polyester, Coolmax® polyester increases durability and makes the Flex Jeans much easier to care for – they’re machine washable, have an impressive dry time over regular denim jeans and they’ll come out with hardly any creases making them ideal for travel. However Coolmax® polyester goes a step further. This impressive technology makes the Flex Jeans incredibly high-wicking, dispersing moisture evenly around the fabric keeping you dry and comfortable.
On top of that, the Flex Jeans also have elastane in the blend – adding a welcome bit of stretch and excellent recovery. It stops these jeans being too restrictive and helps them to keep their shape and prevent saggy knees.
Lyocell is the key component to our Flex Jeans that complements the cotton, Coolmax® polyester and elastane to make these our most comfortable jeans yet.
Made using the pulp from wood, this sustainable material was initially created as a substitute for silk, so naturally it feels incredibly soft against the skin. It also has excellent technical properties including high breathability and moisture control. Like Coolmax® polyester, lyocell transports moisture away from the body for quicker evaporation, keeping you cool, dry and comfortable. It also has excellent durability and flexibility enhancing the properties of the other fibres.
This blend of natural and synthetic fibres reduces the weight of the jeans creating a 9oz denim that makes them incredibly light and packable compared to normal 100% cotton jeans.
Designed in a contemporary tapered leg fit and with plenty of pockets, including a hidden zipped security pocket on the rear seam, these jeans are classic Rohan ingenuity with bang up to date fabric technology. They’re also UPF 40+ Sun Protection tested and approved.

We were the original lightweight revolutionaries. Back in the 1970’s we realised that cutting weight without losing performance meant that you can take less and do more. Everything we make is engineered to achieve this.
Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.
This garment has been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection – and has been awarded a rating of UPF 40+. The protection offered may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet. Any associated UV risks will vary according to individual skin type or medical history.
Losing the odd bit or bob when you’re close to home is rarely an issue, but losing car hire keys, passport, phone or wallet becomes more important than ever in a far off land. That’s why lots of thought goes into safer pockets – deeper, zipped and hidden.

My third or fourth pair of these jeans. Never disappoint, good fit, good colour, smart for going out yet comfortable for walking and everday wear.
I bought these in store after trying them on. I spend my time in relaxed yoga pants and joggers and save jeans for going out and looking smart as I usually find women’s jeans tight, stiff and uncomfortable. These are a revelation which is why I decided to review. No they’re not quite as fashionable as a skinny fit pair but they look quite good for everyday use and I’m happy to go out in them. I love them! Little concerned that many of the reviewers are older ladies than me (45) so thought I’d add for any in that bracket. They are sooo comfortable that I can wear them all day long like joggers and they still look good at the end. They have a little stretch and are lightweight, mid waisted. They come up generous. At 5’7” I’m in regular size 10 and they’re roomy. In other brands I’m a medium or good size 29-12. I’d like another pair but they are quite expensive so hopefully a sale!
I am very pleased with these jeans and already own the lighter colour so bought the dark indigo this time. They are so comfy and fit well. There was a problem with the delivery but Rohan sorted it all out. Thank you.
These jeans certainly stretch however with stretching they also have the propensity to gradually fall from waist, I've been hitching them up all the time! The leg shape is great but why on earth stick to a traditional fastening when other brands have caught on and introduced elasticated pull on jeans. In fact seeing as you've introduced an adjustable elastic to a pair of your linen trousers, why not do the same with this jeans style. I'm quite fed up with unnecessary zips and buttons when they are so stretchy that I can, even on a rotund tummy, just pull them on. I would also suggest just a little less stretch, making them just as comfy but more robust.
Fabulous jeans, so flexible and comfortable they’re as good as leggings. Expensive even with a discount but I know from experience that Rohan clothes last well.
These fit true to size and feel so soft and comfortable on, not thin but equally not tough and thick. Perfect for Spring Summer and travel. They are lighter and have more stretch than the Advance jeans which I also bought and are perfect for Autumn Winter, with less stretch. These Flex jeans are understated in design, not skinny on calf but a narrow straight shape to ankle. Lovely vintage finish too. No unsightly stitching on pockets or embellishments. What's not to love about these, well done Rohan. Both Advance and Flex jeans are excellent. Bought in a regular length, on a long inside leg they fall at ankle. Fit true to size.
These jeans are really great. Very comfortable, with a lighter, softer feel than regular jeans. The tapered leg is stylish but not not too skinny. Expensive - but they fit really well and getting lots of wear
I'm normally a size 12, but always buy Rohan jeans in size 10, this smaller size is a perfect fit for me. One of the things I always appreciated about Rohan jeans was the deep pockets, very sensible and practical. I saw reviews that pointed out the discontinuing of this feature. I bought the jeans anyway, but regretted that the pockets are not only smaller than before, but no bigger than every other brand of jeans. Why change a feature that made Rohan jeans stand out from the crowd? Not sure I would bother paying a lot for Rohan jeans in the future.
Incredibly light and soft jeans which stretch brilliantly - making them very comfortable. I had almost given up trying to find a straight jean which would work for me. 4 stars is only because they are not absolutely perfect fit wise, but pretty close I have to say. I would not have tried these expect there was an offer came my way and I am hoping that 'cost per wear' it'll prove money well spent.
I love them, great fit, great feel
These jeans are wonderful. Light, stretchy and so comfortable to wear. I note the smaller front pockets, but they're not that small and more than ample enough for my needs. I've been living in these since I bought them. Highly recommend!
I have purchased Rohan products for many years and found them to be practical and comfortable shame about the latest Flexi Jeans scrimped leg width and useless pockets seems you are trying to save money by design
Beware Rohan throughout the years you have attempted to join High street fashion for example by changing to unisex and it didn’t work Rohan clothing are special purpose why keep trying to change them , Rohan clothes are not meant to be High Street Fashion but fit for purpose and practical , I can no longer purchase Rohan shoes either because yet again you have chosen to sell the high street fashion of Hotter
I was really looking forward to these stretchy blue jeans as I am a big fan of the Venture jeans which were never available in blue denim. These new flex jeans are indeed comfortable and attractive, fitting well (in my normal Rohan size 10). BUT - what has happened to the wonderful Rohan deep front pockets which are normally a given? The front pockets on these jeans are normal size - just like M&S, Boden and a hundred other cheaper jean brands, so too small to keep my mobile phone safe. (I hate using the secure back pocket which is difficult to access in a hurry). Why abandon what I, for one, have always found a major selling point for Rohan, and the reason why I wear Rohan trousers almost every day? I also note the new Metro jeans are exactly the same........
