    The Women’s Ventus Jacket has been designed to protect you from harsh winter weather. With 3-Layer Barricade Standard technology and a Durable Water Repellency finish – rain, hail, sleet, and snow won’t stop you exploring this winter.

    Our 3-Layer Barricade Standard technology is a construction method that bonds together a water repellent outer, waterproof-breathable membrane, and moisture-wicking inner. While our Durable Water Repellency finish forces water droplets to bead up and run off the jacket, rather than soak the fabric. The result? The ultimate waterproof, windproof and breathable protection.

    Fitted with two AquaGuard pockets, you don’t need to worry about your valuables getting wet. They even fit essentials like OS Maps, so you can store the important things at your fingertips. On those especially cold days, the smart zipper pullers allow you to get into your pockets without removing your gloves. Worn together with the Ventus Over Trousers creates a compete barrier between you and Mother Nature, so you can carry on your adventure.

    I was apprehensive when ordering this jacket because of the price, but I was surprised that I liked it so much. The zips on it are the best I've seen over years of buying jackets, very easy to move up, down and connecting. The waterproofing is excellent, rain beads on the coat and rolls of, doesn't soak in. Hood coverage is good and you're able to move your head from side to side without hinderance. Length is also good for me (5ft 2") rear well covered. Very happy with my purchase.

    This product wasn't quite right for me and I returned it one week ago for a refund. Unfortunately I haven't had any response yet and I am awaiting my refund. Not cheap at £350!

Packable - Pack Size 1300ml

Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.

  • Durable Water Repellency

    Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

  • 3-Layer Barricade

    The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.

    The water-repellent outer fabric, the PU hydrophilic membrane and a protective liner are bonded together to form a single fabric. As a result, these jackets are lightweight whilst maintaining great durability.
