The Pennine Shirt has sleeves and cuffs that provide you with the flexibility to fine-tune the fit to your preference so that you can continue your activities as comfortable as possible. There are two large chest pockets, one with a drop closure and one zipped to help keep things like your credit card or phone safe. The pockets also include dry loops perfect for keeping your keys safe. Finally, a sun collar that flips up will help protect you against the harsh sun when hiking or taking in the views.
In addition, the shirt has easy-care properties and packs down to a small size, perfect for when you want to travel light. Plus, with added Dynamic Moisture Control (DMC), which wicks away moisture and Silvadur™, our anti-odour technology, the Pennine Shirt's helps you stay fresher for longer during those long hot summer months.
UPF 40+ Sun Protection Note
All of our garments are tested for their Ultraviolet Protection Factor, and those that achieve a rating of UPF 40+ are noted as protection against UV. Garments awarded a 40+ UPF block 97.5% of UV radiation rating, so for every 40 units of radiation, 39 are blocked, and 1 contact the skin.

All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

This garment has been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection – and has been awarded a rating of UPF 40+. The protection offered may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet. Any associated UV risks will vary according to individual skin type or medical history.

Anti Odour Silver
Garments treated with our Anti Odour Silver technology benefit from the natural antimicrobial properties of silver. Tiny traces of silver, distributed evenly throughout the garment, inhibit the growth of bacteria reducing mould and odour. This treatment is permanent – it will never wash or wear out.
