Made from a blend of cotton and advanced modern synthetics, they’re lightweight and luxuriously comfortable to wear.
The addition of Coolmax™ polyester and Thermolite® technology to the blend adds temperature regulating properties to the jeans – essentially, when it’s hot, they’re a bit cooler. And when it’s cold, they’re a bit warmer.
Nice to have all the time – but really handy when you’re travelling through different climate zones and rapidly-changing weather conditions.
The addition of stretchy elastane to the blend offers flexibility and freedom of movement – as well as great shape recovery.
A total of six pockets in total. Two front hand pockets, one hidden zip pocket at yoke, one card pocket at waistband and two pockets at the rear seam. The purpose of these pockets have been designed for security and convenience.
Needless to say, our Advance Jeans are easy to care for. Just throw them in the washing machine – or rinse them in a hotel basin – they’ll dry overnight and be ready to go again the next morning. With absolutely no ironing required.

Fast Drying - Drying Time: 9 hours
All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

Advance jeans
I am a petite size 12 so ordered in 12S. The rise is far too deep, well above my natural waist, I suspect the only difference between the short, regular & long is the leg length. They are also too large overall but not enough to go down a size. The leg length also needs to be looked at, 29 is the usual in short when the leg is wide enough to sit over boot or shoe, but a narrower leg needs to be shorter to sit at the correct length. The colour of the dark denim & material however is really nice.

I'm very pleased with these jeans. They are a lot thicker and heavier than other Rohan jeans I've had, but plenty of stretch makes them very comfortable. The fit is good on me (Size 8 Regular), though the waist is a little tight. It's a pity jeans rarely come with a conventional button at the waist, which can be moved slightly to adjust - like the Stretch Bags, for example!

So pleased that you are doing a longer length - I am 6ft tall not unusual these days. They are a good fit too .
Advanced jeans
Whilst the quality of the jeans - weight and feel of the material - was very good, I do have an issue with the sizing and will have to return them. I regard myself as a standard size 12 but these felt much larger. Particularly in the upper leg area, there was just too much material - I looked like Charlie Chaplin in them! I am not looking for skin tight jeans but do want them to look reasonably neat. When the shops re-open, I shall try and see if I can squeeze into a size 10.

Fabric - good quality mid weight denim in a lovely dark navy. Coolmax polyester is a well established technology for keeping you cool. The fabric's fibre blend provides the best of all worlds i.e. cotton for breathability, absorption; polyester and polyamide (nylon) for hardwearing with good colourfast properties; elastane (stretch) for comfort.
Style - love the straight leg, more flattering than a slim leg. The ticket pocket at the waistband RHS useful for a coin token for shopping trolleys, the concealed zipper pocket at the back yoke, very cleverly hidden and great for card and / or phone storage. Waistband is cut on the cross (bias), which lends stretch to a comfortable fit on the waist in addition to the elastomeric fabric stretch. Deep belt loops if you like to wear a belt.
Size - regular Rohan size 12 short leg however not as much 'over measure' added as in other style trousers i.e. Trailblazers or Roamers. That said the baggy jean look is not for me!
I felt very smart and comfortable in my new jeans, definitely a repeat purchase at some time in the future, what's not to love! Well done the design team at Rohan!
