All of our garments are tested for their Ultraviolet Protection Factor, and those that achieve a rather UPF 40+ are noted as protection against UV. Garments awarded a 40+ UPF block 97.5% of UV radiation rating, so for every 40 units of radiation, 39 are blocked, and 1 contact the skin.

Aegean Trousers
The trousers were very nice and I am sure they would be very useful in the warmer weather. However the hlff elaticated waistband let them down. It spoil the look of the trousers from behind. Therefore I returned them.
Aegean Trousers 16 short length
I have recently bought these trousers, which I am returning. Although the fabric is lovely and the trousers are beautifully made - as always- the width of them at the bottom is ridiculously wide. I look like a clown in them.
Another thing is that the security zip - up pocket is on the right-hand side. Why do you assume that the entire population is right-handed? This feature is entirely useless for me, as a left-hander. At least have the security zip-up on both sides. I am so disappointed.
At last!
I have worn Thai trousers for more than 20 years and gradually the leg has become narrower and is too tight round my calves for comfort in hot weather. These Aegean trousers are loose, floaty, allow air flow and feel wonderful against the skin. I cannot wear shorts due to not being able to expose my legs to the sun, so these are perfect. Rohan, please don't change the style if you bring in more colours in the future!
My review of the Women's Aregan trousers
They are light weight, easily washed and good for walking and especially easily packed. They are loose fitting.
