With 60g weight Insuloft distributed throughout the body, the Rime Jacket offers optimal warmth without weighing you down. The arms feature 40g weight Insuloft, whilst the side panels offer zoned quilting, ensuring freedom of movement without compromising warmth. For added comfort, the jacket’s collar is faced with brushed microfleece.
Equipped with two external zipped pockets, with an internal facing microfleece lining this jacket provides secure storage options for your possessions while keeping your hands warm. For your more essential belongings, The Rime Jacket also has a zipped interior pocket angled for convenient access. And if you need to keep things close to hand, the mesh stash pocket offers ample room for your necessities.
Made from durable Polyamide, the outer fabric of the Rime Jacket is treated with a Durable Water Repellency finish that helps to protect against water splashes and unexpected drizzles by encouraging the water droplets to bead up and roll off the fabric, helping to keep you dry and comfortable for longer. For a customisable fit, fine-tune the jacket's hemline to your preference using the hem adjuster located inside the jacket on the hemline.

I was pleased with the jacket but unfortunately the stitching doesn’t seem to have been done properly and is gradually working itself loose.There are a series of white threads appearing on the outside of the jacket. I contacted Rohan, but their response was that they were not aware of this being a more general problem. I have generally been happy with my Rohan purchases, but I am flagging this up in case there is a wider problem.Was this review helpful?4 days agoMen's Rime Jacket Alpine GreenExcellent design, fabric and confection. Successor to the Icepack jacket that has served me well. Only disappointing feature is the quite severe fabric creases on the body and sleeves. This is caused by the fabric (polyamide) being under tension during the inspection process. The slight stretching of the fabric when being inspected and subsequent shrinkage (during storage of the fabric before garment manufacturing ) when on the roll causes the creasing that will remain during the lifetime of the jacket. Another well known brand have quilted jackets showing the same problem. The problem is associated solely with polyamide fabrics that have greater elasticity than polyester. I have been wearing it on some fresh days (6° ish with a breeze) with a cotton tshirt on. It's warm, the interior and exterior fabric feel soft, and it doesn't let the wind through. It's going to be a great stand alone jacket as well as an insulator when wearing a waterproof on cold days. I did stumble into some drizzle and it just beads off. Good quality finish. They are quite long and both sleeves are also very creased which tend to spoil the look of the jacket. I’m hoping the creases will eventually fall out but I’m not holding my breath.
