The Valley Jacket is a great addition to your weekend trips to the countryside. This multi-pocketed jacket has the perfect amount of stretch, so you can go straight from your rural morning walk to the local pub for lunch.
We’ve incorporated key styling features from our much-loved Bags Trousers, like chunky zips and snap closures, into this jacket, along with a Rohan must-have: a selection of pockets to store your essentials for your adventures. There are two side-entry hand pockets, two large drop-in pockets at the front with secure zip and snap fastenings, and a roomy internal zipped pocket.
Our MultiFlex fabric makes this layer perfect for exploring, as it offers unrestricted movement. The blend of polyamide and elastane creates a lightweight yet durable stretch fabric, which we’ve finished with Durable Water Repellency (DWR), to protect you from unexpected showers. DWR forces rain to ‘bead up’ on the surface of the fabric and run off, keeping you dry while you move.
For extra protection from the elements when you need it, the roll-away hood has concealed adjustment points at the front, so you can tighten the fit around your face. And if you’re wearing a backpack, the mesh lining across the upper back and shoulders wicks away moisture for extra comfort.
When the weather warms up but light rain is still on the horizon, the Men’s Valley Jacket will keep you comfortable as you cross the trails.

Despite my apprediation, I returned the jacket because I really didn't like the color. About the right price - the full price twice as high would have been ridiculous. Good points: Strong zips. Plenty of pockets. A hood. Poor points: The fastening for the hood when not in use is poor. The material of the jacket is not of the usual Rohan feel or strength. The cuffs have different diameters making the right sleeve hard to get off. A useful addition to the wardrobe.Was this review helpful?6 months agoMen's Valley Jacket Flint GreenI normally wear 'large' in Rohan sizing but for this jacket a medium fits me perfectly even with a light fleece jacket worn underneath. Even the hood is a good fit. I bought this at sale price but if I'd known how much use I'd make of it I'd have happily paid full price. It's well designed and, with the stretching fabic, is extremely comfortable. Good sized and accessible pockets. The dwr proofing has coped well with the few showers Ive experienced when wearing it. Only small niggle is that I wish it had a double zip which would make it more comfortable when sitting or driving. Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.
