Our Merino Union 150 Henley takes advantage of the properties of nature’s finest technical fabric and combines them with the quick-drying, hardwearing technical fibres to create this superb layer garment.

Merino wool will regulate your temperature in a wide range of conditions. It’s nice and cosy in the cold but never too hot when the temperature or your activity levels start to rise.

It ‘wicks’ moisture extremely efficiently and, because wool is the only fibre in the world which can absorb vapour, it delays the onset of sweating – keeping you far more comfortable and eliminating the unpleasant chill you sometimes get when you take a break or slow down.<

Merino wool is also incredibly soft and comfortable next to the skin – there’s none of the unpleasant itching you sometimes get with ordinary wool.

Merino wool also has another remarkable property which makes it particularly suitable for a base layer. It has a natural resistance to the build-up of odour. On a long trip, where washing facilities are limited this can be a handy benefit. You can wear it for days on end without feeling the need to give it a wash and stay nice to be near throughout your adventure.

We've built in a few clever features such as flatlock seams which enhance comfort, and subtle, low-profile allow buttons for a smarter finish for added versatility. Small details that we're sure you’ll come to appreciate when you’re working hard on the hill, or enjoying a well-deserved drink after.
