Loch Lomond is otherworldly and it’s home to over 30 islands! Nearby Ben Lomond is known locally as a playground for hikers and you can climb the Ptarmigan Ridge if you’re feeling particularly adventurous. Your trip here doesn’t have to be challenging though and there are a number of tourist routes that are flatter and great for beginners.
