Unpredictable weather plays a big part in your outdoor adventures, which is why the Farne Jacket comes with our renowned Rohan Barricadeā¢, combining our latest fabric technology to construct a waterproof, windproof and breathable shell, perfect for your adventures throughout the year.
Designed to keep you protected and comfortable all day, whether it be a river walk or exploring new towns & villages this stylish and practical jacket includes an adjustable hood that will protect you from those unexpected showers. In addition, the jacket has two zipped pockets at waist height for ease of use, should you need to grab those essentials and the adjustable hem and cuffs allow you to personalise the fit just the way you like it.
Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable, due to the 2-Layer Barricadeā¢ fabric. This by definition means that the waterproof fabric has two layers, a water repellent outer and a PU hydrophilic membrane that is bonded together, as well as taped seams to prevent water from leaking through. In addition, a loose taffeta mesh lining protects the membrane, providing extra breathability and comfort.
Treated with a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish that boosts the fabric's water repellency, forcing water droplets to 'bead up' and run off the outside of the material, maintaining its effectiveness and making it a perfect addition to your wardrobe.

The sleeves are a good length and have a handy velcro adjustable fastening. It has two handy zipped pockets. Love the waterproof standard by Rohan as really keeps you dry in the rain. Lovely colour and fabric. Quite short but just right for my 5' 3" frame. I like the fact that the cuffs have velcro to tighten them. I haven't worn it yet so cannot comment on the effectiveness of the waterproofing. The old Rohan jacket I am replacing, which did me proud for at least 8 years had the disadvantage of Velcro fastenings which caught on my clothes. My only sadness about the new one is that it does not have the stiffener in the hood which is useful if one wears glasses.
