Insuloft, a 100% recycled polyester insulation, is body-mapped in key areas to provide the warmth you need in the areas you need it for your most active outdoor challenges.
Across the chest and rear panels membrane is bonded to the insulation, drawing moisture away from you to keep you comfortable as you move along the trails. Even with all these practical features, the Helios Vest is lightweight and packable, folding down into its own Packpocket and taking up hardly any space in your wardrobe when you’re home in between adventures, or in your backpack when you’re out on the peaks.
Ready for you to throw on as soon as the temperature drops, this versatile vest is an ideal mid-layer that will keep your core warm under a waterproof shell in the pouring rain, or as an outer layer if you’re out in an unexpected shower. The Durable Water Repellency finish on the tough outer fabric acts as a shield against light rainfall, causing water droplets to bead up and roll off the fabric. So, whatever the weather and wherever you’re heading, you can enjoy your journey as you stay protected from the elements.
Elasticated armholes ensure total freedom of movement no matter your activity, while an adjustable hem means you can customise the fit of your Helios Vest to suit you. Three zipped security pockets, one of which doubles as a Packpocket, enable you to keep your walking essentials safe and closeby, and a brushed tricot lining has been added to the two zipped hand pockets and to the back of the neck for extra warmth and comfort. It’s this combination of practical features and cold-weather protection that makes our Helios Vest an ideal addition to your activewear wardrobe

Roomy enough to go over other layers in colder weather but also light enough to go under a waterproof for extra insulation. I also liked the length and the cord makes for a snugger fit. Roomy pockets as well! Clever design is more often than not about what to take off rather than what to put on. It’s about giving one feature multiple functions. That’s why many of our garments feature a Packpocket. This handy addition converts pockets into space-saving storage by compressing the garment into itself. You could use it as a travel pillow when it’s all packed down too.
