At Rohan, we’ve always believed in crafting clothing with purpose - kit that’s built to last, to perform, and to connect people with the outdoors. That same ethos is exactly what drew us to collaborate with Lisa Berridge and her design studio, Coco Bloom.

Lisa’s journey into textile design is one driven by experience, intuition, and a love for the natural world. Having studied printed textile design at university, she launched her design career before climbing the ranks across some of London’s top retailers. This is where Lisa really cemented her design philosophy: original and hand-crafted. “My experience has made me into the designer I am today. I have worked for some amazing companies that really embraced my way of working - screen printing, hand painting on silk, embracing imperfection.”

Coco Bloom was born in March 2019 out of a desire to elevate the world of commercial print. Lisa created a studio that would prioritise creativity over quantity - choosing bespoke, hand-crafted prints that tell a story. The ethos is simple but rare: “I want to design what I want to design – I don’t want to follow mainstream fashion.” That passion and refusal to conform is what makes Coco Bloom so special.

Working with Lisa has been nothing short of inspiring. Introducing print to our heritage brand was bold - but together with our design team, we started small, feeling our way with modest designs before gradually embracing the more adventurous and expressive side of Coco Bloom, featured in our Clarendon, Marina and Voyager ranges. Lisa’s belief that “customers love a story” is one we wholeheartedly share. From the very first moodboard, each design was created with longevity in mind - garments that look just as good in 20 years as they do now.

Drawing inspiration from the world around her - from beautiful flowers on daily walks to a decades-old painting rediscovered in her Mum’s attic - Lisa’s work is as layered and unpredictable as nature itself. Her love of printmaking, the uncertainty of screen printing, and the creative chaos of her studio space has brought something truly unique to our newest collection. Our collaboration continues to excite us. It’s one we’re proud of and one we plan to grow, introducing even more beautiful prints to our ranges to be shared on 4-season adventures.
