The Full Story
The Antlia Trousers are designed for fast paced warm weather adventures. Lightweight, durable, and breathable, they are the ideal choice for everything from high activity trekking to wildlife photography and birdwatching.
As a summer specific trouser, The Antlia thrive in warm conditions. Strategically placed vents under the front hand pockets help keep you cool when standing still and when you walk, they act like a bellow moving air around the trousers – cooling you down as you move. Thanks to the Dynamic Moisture Control treatment, any sweat buildup will be rapidly moved away from your skin, and as it is dispersed you will experience the benefit of the evaporative cooling effect.
With two deep secure zipped mesh lined hand pockets and a secure zipped pocket at the rear, there’s plenty of room for your on-the-go essentials. The tri ring in the left-hand pocket is perfect for attaching your keys or other important possessions for extra security.
For added durability, The Antlia Trousers feature durable rip stop panelling on the knees, seat, and gusset and bonded anti-scuff tape at hems. This panelling features a Durable Water Repellency finish to help speed up the drying time on these impact points. These trousers also feature our UPF40+ sun protection technology, and zip gussets on the lower leg.
With a dry time of just 3 hours, these trousers are ideal for multi day hikes. If you need to wash and re-wear them, they will be dry and ready for adventure in no time.

Lightweight, stretchy, true to size and fitted. Plenty of pockets and they keep you cool when ascending. I bought one in each colour. The green is darker and a much better colour than in the image, the photos do not do it justice - it is much more of a Man's green than the image portrays!2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?30 days agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers Highland Green/BlackReviewer didn't leave any comments2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?30 days agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers Highland Green/BlackI recently bought the green and black version, in the sale, and wore them for the first time on a 9- mile walk over Kinder in weather that started very cold but became very warm. The fit is perfect, and they were very comfortable. The colour is great and is a nice change from the usual greys and blues. Highly recommended.1 person found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?1 month agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers True Navy/Slate GreyThe trousers are well made and a good fit. I particularly like the ventilation feature. I've not had chance to road test them yet, so cannot comment on their durability. That's why I've only given a 4. I've been a customer of Rohan for over 20 years and have generally found their products to be worth the extra money.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers True Navy/Slate GreyI particularly liked the double stud at the waist.2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers Highland Green/BlackWell made and really tough but stretchable material. It is too early to comment on durability and longevity.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Antlia Trekking Trousers True Navy/Slate GreyI've bought two pairs of these - one in each colour (the other the green/black option). I didn't know what to expect but am very impressed. I always buy a 34" waist now (used to be a 32 ;-) !) and the fit is just right with great freedom of movement without being flappy, lightweight and thoughtfull design. Just right for those cooler days in summer before you get into your shorts...or need to change out of them! Small pack size is brilliant. Highly recommended.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?11 months ago

Men's Antlia Summer Trekking Trousers
Designed for fast paced hikes in the warmer months, these comfortable and lightweight trousers are the perfect addition to your summer adventures. Stay protected from the elements with UPF40+ sun protection, and a DWR finish in key areas.
-
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.
-
DMC is a wicking technology that rapidly spreads the moisture our bodies create across the surface area of a garment. This can be achieved through the technical construction of the garment or by a performance coating and ensures that the garment dries more quickly, encourages evaporative heat loss and helps you stay cooler and more comfortable for longer.
-
This garment has been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection – and has been awarded a rating of UPF 40+. The protection offered may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet. Any associated UV risks will vary according to individual skin type or medical history.

Losing possessions when you’re close to home is frustrating, but losing your car keys, passport, phone or wallet while you’re travelling can really spoil your adventure. That’s why we put lots of thought into developing safer pockets – deeper, zipped and hidden.
