The Full Story
Incredibly functional and highly durable, these versatile trousers are designed for adventure. Built to withstand the wilderness but stylish enough to wear during everyday travel. The stretchy ripstop fabric ensures that your ability to move freely is never compromised.
These trousers feature Insect Shield® technology to protect you from insect and bug bites and UPF40+ Sun Protection and Dynamic Moisture Control to help you adventure with confidence.
With a total of 6 pockets, there’s plenty of storage options for your adventure essentials. The two front hand pockets feature snap fasteners that open to expand the pocket size. On the right side there is a hidden zipped pocket on the inside face, perfect for your more valuable possessions. Inside the left hand pocket you will find a Tri-ring, ideal for securing things like your keys or other important items.
Two large cargo pockets located on the thighs are darted for extra room. They feature an anti-theft design on the zip that secures it in place when fully closed. A zipped pocket on the rear of the trousers offers storage for less important items that you still need close to hand and adds ventilation thanks to the mesh interior.
Scuff tape on the hem helps to prevent wear, and a stretchy mesh inside the trouser leg treated with Insect Shield® protects against unwanted insects crawling up the trouser. The internal mesh can be tucked into your socks to provide a complete barrier without changing the look of the trousers. Ranger Belt included.
Fabric: 94% Polyamide 6% Elastane

I’m happy to report that the popper buttons on the pockets are brilliant. Open the poppers and it’s like turning on the air conditioning. The mesh in the legs works really well and I’ve not yet resorted to tucking them into my socks and still remained unbitten. They are excellent and wash very well. Was this review helpful?2 days agoMen's Frontier Trousers Storm BlueI like these trousers, the mesh in the legs and the insect repellant work well. The popper pockets are a bit odd, but they kind of work if you get the right size, my advice is to go for the size up rather than down or your normal size. I'm normally a 32, but the 34 of these works best for me in terms of the poppers on the pockets, but I do think that the fit is smaller than other Rohan trousers. I love the colour - they wash well and on a recent trip - they dried overnight having been washed and covered in mud. They were the only trousers that looked like new the following day in a cast of high end trousers.2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?1 month agoMen's Frontier Trousers Storm BlueBought for a trip to Costa Rica. Comfortable in the humidity and the insect repellent design appeared to work. Did not notice the net ankle cuffs while wearing them and they dont get in the way when you put them on. The front hip pockets are weird with a popper that opens them out into a useless baggy thing. Might have to sew them up because the popper comes undone very easily.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?2 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers Park GreenSadly, I agree with one of the other reviewers that a good product should have been left well alone. Expedition has some improvements on the Pioneer, but both are inferior to the previous Trailblazer. I needed a new pair of summer trousers with good storage space. The Glen Cargo Trousers are a non-starter. Glen’s thigh pocket without a zip is unattractive. Glen’s thigh pocket fastened with one of those awful plastic poppers that break is a completely pointless. So, Expedition was the only option. The good points of the Expedition trousers are the new central waist popper button, the rip-stop fabric and the removal of the tunnel belt loop. The move of the thigh pockets to the side, from the front, is also attractive. On the downside, the Expedition front waist pockets are truly strange. When unbuttoned they form a loose cone. When buttoned, they are a little too tight. So, I have to be careful not to pop them open when I put anything in my pockets. The positioning of the D-ring and of the internal zip are also odd. A return to conventional pockets, please. The facility to secure the zips on the thigh pockets is just too fiddly. I have never regarded zipped thigh pockets as a security risk. Might have been nice to have a belt of matching colour, rather than black. And, finally, I have not yet cut off the insect nets. But I will. Unless you really want them, they are an inconvenience.4 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers Storm BlueGreat pair of trousers using in heat or cold and rain. Used on Safari coming back a week ago. One of the pocket studs was faulty but once I sent them back I received a new pair in two days. Tremendous after service Highly recommend Rohan2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers StoneYet to wear them in the field, but verycomfortable.1 person found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?9 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers StoneBeautifully made, but a very strange shape, with enormous amounts of fabric in the front. With most trousers, the construction is relatively simple to adjust (if you can use a sewing machine), but there are so many panels in this that it's really difficult. But I'm sure that, once the mods have been done, they'll be easy to live in.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?11 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers Storm BlueOn 2 Front Pockets the Press Studs?.If they fail you’ll end up with Unserviceable pockets.I like Thigh pockets & Convertible trousers, so u can zip off the trsr legs. Like the Pioneer trsrs but not the Colour.Nice Fabric & I like the Anti Horse fly gaiters on the Ankles.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?12 months agoMen's Frontier Trousers StoneMuch improved on the last itteration - the Pioneer I think it was - but stil not quite as well featured as the Trailblasers. I like the ankle cuffs and the side leg pockets are good without looking like thug pokcets or builders utility pants. The belt loops much imprioved, more adaptable and easier to use. But I justy dont get the expanable hand pckets with snap clips that are bound to become loose if used and futile if not - plus the zipped pocket on the flappy bit is difficut to get to. Sometimes I feel like these young desigenrs change thigns just for the sake of change rather than just add to what works. The Trailblaser was great - no need for some of these bright idea flappy pockets and hard to get to zips! Take the4 bets of both and I think we'd all be happy.5 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?1 year ago
