The Portreath Shirt has our UPF40+ Sun Protection technology, meaning that while wearing the shirt you will be protected from the dangers of harmful UV rays, allowing you explore with confidence. This protection only applies to areas covered by the shirt.
If you plan to wear the shirt for a long duration, the FreshWay antimicrobial technology within the shirt will help to keep you feeling fresh and ready for adventure for longer. This treatment works by distributing tiny traces of silver throughout the garment, which naturally neutralises the buildup of odour causing bacteria and mould.
For ease of wear and to allow you to quickly take it on and off, this shirt features snap fasteners on the central placket instead of traditional buttons. The adjustable cuffs also feature snap fasteners, making them easy to adjust on the move.

This garment has been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection – and has been awarded a rating of UPF 40+. The protection offered may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet. Any associated UV risks will vary according to individual skin type or medical history.
