Based on the design of our iconic Bags, the Bag Shorts feature the same tried-and-tested Airlight fabric.
Airlight was a revolutionary fabric designed to be tough, lightweight and wind-resistant. It makes the Bag Shorts a great choice for trekking and summer hillwalking.
The Bag Shorts have the same excellent pocket configuration as the Bags as well. They have four zipped security pockets, plus two large hand pockets, reinforced seat and, of course, our trademark accessory D-ring.
Highly packable and very easy to care for, these shorts are perfect for taking on multi-day hikes and for hot-weather travel.

Well designed, well made, comfortable, functional for the outdoors, durable, quick drying and backed up by the world renowned and respected Rohan customer service. Rohan are my favorite clothing brand and have been so since I bought my first pair of Men's Bag shorts and trousers in the early 1980s. They are smart and very practical. As with all Rohan gear they travel well and they are easy to look after. Unfortunately, my 3 children (all just over 30) perceive Rohan as ‘an old persons shop with old styles”. Nothing will convince them to even look at a Rohan catalogue or website - even thought they are all active, outdoor adults. Plenty of pockets 6 and none on the leg to weight the shorts down. The material is none stretch, but sturdy and comfortable. I usually wear a 32" but I had to order a 34". Ideal for people with short legs, I'm 6 foot 1 and find these ride up very high on my legs when I sit down.
