Boot-cut. Rohan-style. When the weather takes a sudden turn for the worst, the Men's Ventus Overtrousers offer quick, effective protection. The two-way, three-quarter length AquaGuard zips allow you to pull them on over your boots easily, keeping your clothes underneath dry.
The Ventus Overtrousers are easy to pull on, offering a quick change when the weather turns whilst offering the added stretch to help provide more freedom of movement when walking. In addition, the Ventus features the Cohaesive™ waist adjustment with added elastication for comfort.
The Ventus Overtrousers comes with our renowned 3-Layer Barricade Standard, and it stops rain from getting in and is windproof whilst remaining fully breathable. The waterproof outer and breathable inner membrane and fully sealed seam ensure there is no leakage.
To be labelled waterproof and given the Barricade Standard, it needs to have a Hydrostatic Head measure of 20,000mm—the level of water a product can withstand, the benchmark is 1,500mm.
As we know, when it's wet outside, waterproofing is not something you want to compromise on, allowing you to do what you love for longer. So, the Ventus Overtrouser is the best of both worlds—waterproof and extremely breathable.
We have added the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish which makes light work of heavy or prolonged downpours. Instead of soaking into the material, water droplets bead up and run off the trousers, keeping the rest of your layers dry, providing additional protection against the elements.
When you no longer need that extra layer of protection, shake off the water and pack these lightweight trousers down, ready for when the weather turns again.

Really pleased with their performance & exceptionally easy to put on with the long zips to the thigh. I was with a walking group from Llanwrtyd Wells & a number made complimentary remarks on both their appearance & quality.3 people found this review helpful.Was this review helpful?3 years agoMen's Ventus Overtrousers CarbonIn spite of paying extra to get them delivered early the courier did not do so for nearly a week, however that does not reflect on the trousers themselves, but I was disappointed when trying them on to find that they were too long and there are no choices for leg length. The quality is good but the waist band also leaves a lot to be desired. Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

3-Layer Barricade
The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.
The water-repellent outer fabric, the PU hydrophilic membrane and a protective liner are bonded together to form a single fabric. As a result, these jackets are lightweight whilst maintaining great durability.
