Keep the wet out and the warmth in with the Hampton Jacket this winter. 2-Layer Barricade Standard waterproof technology keeps you dry and the soft jersey lining creates warmth and a soft-to-touch feel. This smart-style jacket fits in perfectly whether you’re wandering about the town or exploring local footpaths on a rainy afternoon.
The Hampton Jacket provides protection from blustery winds and heavy showers with our 2-Layer Barricade Standard waterproof technology. The 2-Layer construction means that the waterproof fabric has two layers; the water repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together, and a loose lining protects the membrane from the inside. In the case of the Hampton Jacket, the inner lining is a soft-to-touch jersey that provides the warmth and comfort you need on a chilly day.
A Durable Water Repellency finish has been applied to the outer fabric of this jacket, to protect it from wetting out. Water droplets are forced to bead up and roll off the garment, stopping the fabric from soaking through. In simpler terms, the Barricade Standard keeps you dry in wet weather, and the Durable Water Repellency prevents the outer fabric from wetting out, ultimately resulting in you being able to continue your day unbothered by any storms that may be brewing.
Two zipped hand pockets and an internal chest pocket allow you to securely stow away any valuables that you want to keep handy as you’re dipping in and out of the local independent shops. The protective hood with a concealed two-point face adjustment, and adjustable cuffs, allow you to tighten the jacket to keep bitter winds out, and the full-length Aquaguard® zip down the front ensures that no water can get in. The Hampton jacket is perfect to throw on when the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

2-Layer Barricade
The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.
The waterproof fabric of the garment has two layers. The water-repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together. In addition, a loose lining protects the membrane from the inside.
