    Our 3-Layer Barricade Standard provides total waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, in a durable jacket designed in a tough yet quiet fabric, to help you move across the top of the highest hills without a second thought.

    Thoughtful features make this breathable hard shell the perfect choice for your adventures. Two hand pockets are secured by AquaGuard® zips to provide extra rain protection for your belongings, and are positioned to sit above the waistband of any backpack you might be carrying on your day out so you can always get to what you need. The lightweight mesh lining in these pockets provides an element of ventilation as you move, allowing airflow through this 3-season jacket.

    A slightly longer length will keep you protected when you take a seat to admire the views you’ve climbed to see. And if the weather really takes a turn while you’re walking, or if the breeze is unexpectedly brisk when you reach the summit, Cohaesive™ adjustments at the back of the hood and concealed adjusters at the front mean you can secure the snorkel hood around your face to combat the wind and rain.

Lightweight - Weight 441 Grams

Packable - Pack Size 1300ml

Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.

Fast Drying - Drying Time 5 hours

All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

  • Durable Water Repellency

    Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

  • 3-Layer Barricade

    The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.

    The water-repellent outer fabric, the PU hydrophilic membrane and a protective liner are bonded together to form a single fabric. As a result, these jackets are lightweight whilst maintaining great durability.

  • Secure Pockets

    Losing possessions when you’re close to home is frustrating, but losing your car keys, passport, phone or wallet while you’re travelling can really spoil your adventure. That’s why we put lots of thought into developing safer pockets – deeper, zipped and hidden.
